Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to lead the installation and repair of basic to complex HVAC systems

  • Proficient in working with, sizing, and installation of ductwork

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced HVAC issues with precision.

  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices on job sites.

  • Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support during projects.

Qualifications:

General Requirements for All Positions:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

  • Clear background check.

  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Education & Credentials:

  • Section 608 EPA Certification

  • Completion of an accredited HVAC-R course (can substitute for relevant field experience)

  • Advanced HVAC certifications preferred 

  • Specialized certifications in advanced systems are preferred

Experience & Expertise:

  • 3-5 years of practical field experience in HVAC systems.

  • Proficient in working with basic to complex HVAC systems

  • Proficient in application of new HVAC technology 

  • Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Skills:

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a strong understanding of refrigerants, electrical components, and system diagnostics.

  • Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex HVAC system issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime for customers.

  • Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain system issues, provide maintenance tips, and build trust with clients.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in diagnosing problems, following safety protocols, and ensuring systems meet performance standards and compliance codes.

  • Physical Stamina and Dexterity: The capability to work in tight spaces, handle tools and equipment effectively, and perform physically demanding tasks in various environments
