Key Responsibilities:
Ability to lead the installation and repair of basic to complex HVAC systems
Proficient in working with, sizing, and installation of ductwork
Diagnose and troubleshoot advanced HVAC issues with precision.
Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices on job sites.
Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical support during projects.
Qualifications:
General Requirements for All Positions:
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Clear background check.
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Education & Credentials:
Section 608 EPA Certification
Completion of an accredited HVAC-R course (can substitute for relevant field experience)
Advanced HVAC certifications preferred
Specialized certifications in advanced systems are preferred
**Must submit copies of all licenses and certifications with application
Experience & Expertise:
3-5 years of practical field experience in HVAC systems.
Proficient in working with basic to complex HVAC systems
Proficient in application of new HVAC technology
Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with a strong understanding of refrigerants, electrical components, and system diagnostics.
Troubleshooting Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex HVAC system issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime for customers.
Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain system issues, provide maintenance tips, and build trust with clients.
Attention to Detail: Precision in diagnosing problems, following safety protocols, and ensuring systems meet performance standards and compliance codes.
Physical Stamina and Dexterity: The capability to work in tight spaces, handle tools and equipment effectively, and perform physically demanding tasks in various environments
